Membership

What makes BDYC unique is that it’s not just a marina — it’s a non-profit club run mostly by volunteers. Our members participate in the Docks-in and Docks-out at the beginning and end of the season, and everyone contributes to making the club a great place to be.

  • Docks-in & Docks-out: All members participate in installing the docks in spring and removing them in fall. These are mandatory work days.
  • Work Hours: Members are required to contribute a minimum number of volunteer hours each season (see the fee schedule for work-hour credits and charges).
  • BBQ Hosting: Members can earn volunteer credits by hosting a Saturday BBQ at the club.
